Questions
1. What is the main difference between EBOO therapy and conventional ozone therapies?
While conventional ozone therapies typically involve ozonating a small amount of blood and reinfusing it, EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) is much more comprehensive. In a single session, more than half of the body’s total blood volume (approximately 2 liters) is filtered and ozonated within a closed system. This provides a deeper cleansing and a higher therapeutic effect.
2. How is the blood purified during the procedure?
EBOO does more than just perform ozonation; it is also the only system that uses a true dialysis filter. While the blood is outside the body, it is passed through special filters to remove microplastics, heavy metals, waste particles, and pathogens, and is then enriched with ozone before being returned to the body.
3. How long does an EBOO session last?
A session typically lasts about one hour, including the preparation phase and the circulation of blood within the device. During this time, the patient can rest comfortably.
4. Will I feel any pain or discomfort during the treatment?
No, EBOO is not a painful procedure. The only sensation you’ll feel is the prick of the needle, similar to what you’d feel when getting a regular IV. During the procedure, some patients may describe a mild sensation of warmth as the blood is returned to the body; this is completely normal.
5. How many sessions should I have?
While this may vary depending on the individual’s health condition and goals, a protocol of 4 to 6 sessions per year is generally recommended. For chronic conditions, one session per month may be scheduled according to the schedule determined by the specialist.
6. Are there any side effects after the procedure?
EBOO is a safe and closed system. Most people feel more energetic and refreshed immediately after the procedure. In very rare cases, a brief, mild feeling of fatigue may occur as the body goes through the detoxification process.
7. Can I return to work or my social life immediately after treatment?
Yes, you can resume your daily activities as soon as the session is over. However, it is recommended that you avoid very strenuous and exhausting exercise on the day of the procedure to allow your body time to recover.
8. Who is EBOO not suitable for?
EBOO may not be recommended in cases of G6PD deficiency (also known as fava bean allergy), severe anemia, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, or a very recent heart attack. A specialist’s opinion must be sought prior to treatment.
9. What materials are collected in the EBOO waste bin?
Heavy metals, environmental toxins, microplastics, and metabolic waste separated from the blood during the procedure are collected in this container. The density and color of these waste products vary from patient to patient depending on their current toxic load.
10. Is EBOO beneficial in the post-COVID era?
Yes, EBOO has been observed to be effective in reducing the spike protein and associated toxins, particularly following COVID-19, as well as in improving tissue oxygenation. It supports the recovery process by boosting the immune system.
